Prepare to be entertained in 4K: the limited edition 4K UHD steelbook of Ridley Scott's Gladiator is up for preorder, coming soon on November 12 this year for $30.99 (see here at Amazon). This is just in time for the release of its highly-anticipated sequel, Gladiator II, which will hit theaters 10 days later on November 22. There's truly no better time to pick it up for your physical media collection, so check it out at the link below.
Gladiator 4K UHD Steelbook is Up for Preorder
Alongside the 4K restoration of Gladiator, this steelbook also comes with a Blu-ray and digital copy of the film. The steelbook itself has a nice design as well, with the cover showing off Russell Crowe's Maximus in battle with a tiger reflected in his shield. If you've been building up your 4K collection with some classics, this is absolutely worth investing in. And with Gladiator II coming out not long after this steelbook's release, there's really no better time to watch it in such high quality, whether that be for your very first time or as a rewatch.
If you're looking for even more 4K films or shows to pick up right now, it's worth having a look at our breakdown of upcoming 4K UHD and Blu-ray release dates. Alongside re-releases of popular older films on 4K - like A Nightmare on Elm Street or the Mad Max 5-Film Collection - we've also listed release dates for newer theatrical releases alongside upcoming releases for TV shows on Blu-ray and 4K (both old and new). With the prices of some streaming services rising, now's a great time to invest in physical media, and thankfully, there's a wide variety of options to look through and buy.
